No trace of them even in the sunny wildlife garden. I forgot to mention the wool carder bees and also Osmia caerulescens feed on S. sylvatica. Bees have me learn so much about plants!Africa Gomezhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03501193251810926737noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7294155481861267737.post-82005374455252520512012-07-06T06:17:09.811+01:002012-07-06T06:17:09.811+01:00V interesting post! I have been amazed that the woolcarders have arrived on cue, on my newly planted stachys. I do have some woundwort nearby and will have a look for these lovely little bees. I am struck also by the similarities between the behaviour of the anthidiums and the anthophora and their high pitched buzz! Wonderful. Thank you Africa.sharp green pencilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03995814359038535193noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7294155481861267737.post-40000233218188727162012-07-06T03:36:10.313+01:002012-07-06T03:36:10.313+01:00Another epic post.
